q. How do I install password protection on my message board?
a. To install password protection on your board, simply log into the administration area, and click on "Password Protection" on the side bar. From this page, you can follow the directions in order to continue installing password protection on your board.
q. I just added password protection to my board. The first time I entered my board, it asked me for my password, but now it keeps letting me in. What is wrong with your system?
a. Our password protection only asks for your username and password once. You will then be logged in until the next time you start your browser.
q. I just added someone to password protection, but they can't get in the board. What's wrong?
a. The username and password are both case sensitive. This means that "Mary" is different than "mary".
q. What is the difference between standard password protection and "post only" password protection?
a. Our standard password protection requires someone to have a username and password in order to view your message board. Our "post only" password protection allows anyone to view your message board, but requires
them to have a valid username and password in order to post to your message board.
q. How do I remove password protection from my account?
a. To remove password protection, simply visit the "Password Protection" section of the administration area. At the bottom of this page is a link to uninstall password protection.
q. How can I allow users to sign themselves up?
a. You can do this by enabling Auto Registration on your board. After doing so, you can choose to either manually approve each user who signs up, or have users instantly approved. Check out the "Auto Registration" section of the administration area for full details!
