q. People are only able to post to my board once every 2 minutes. How can I turn that off?

a. This feature is called "Spam Control". We strongly recommend that you leave this enabled. However, if you wish to turn it off look for the "Spam Control" option in the settings section of the administration area. Here you can even choose how many minutes you want to allow between postings rather than just turn it off.

q. I've seen on other Boardhost boards where the text of the previous messages is quoted in the message box. How can I make my board do that?

a. To enable this feature on your board, visit the "Edit Board Settings" section of the administration area and check the box next to "Quote Message Text" in the "Optional Features" section.

q. I've made a lot of changes to my board, but some of them don't seem to be working. What's going on?

a. Some settings changes affect future messages only. All future messages posted to your board will have your new settings.
